You get nothing useful, because search boxes want keywords and you have a situation.

"I do not want to search a directory. I want to describe my night and be handed the right five people."

That is the gap the Yarnoo AI assistant closes.

What Just Shipped

Yarnoo now has a built-in AI assistant at /chat. You describe your event in a sentence, it works out what you actually need, and it searches the catalog for you. No filter grid, no guessing which category a zaffa act lives under.

It is not a chatbot bolted onto a homepage. It reads from the same artist catalog you browse at /artists, so anything it recommends is a real, bookable profile you can open, review, and contact.

It Understands the Event, Not Just the Keyword

When you write something like "I need a DJ and a percussionist for a wedding in Lebanon in October, budget around 1500", the assistant pulls apart the parts that matter:

• Category - DJ, percussionist, singer, dancer, kids entertainment, event services
• Country - so you are not shown acts who cannot realistically travel to you
• Budget and venue signals - mentioned in passing, in your own words
• Occasion - a wedding brief is not a corporate brief, even for the same category

If something important is missing, it asks instead of guessing. If you do not know what category you need, ask it to list them and describe the vibe you want.

Search That Understands Meaning, Not Just Spelling

Under the assistant sits a hybrid search: keyword matching for the exact things (a name, a city, a specific instrument) combined with semantic matching for the things you can only describe ("something moody and acoustic for a cocktail hour").

This matters in a market like ours, where the same act is spelled five different ways in five different WhatsApp groups. Ask for a "tabla player" and you should still meet the percussionists who describe themselves in Arabic, in French, or with a stage name that looks nothing like what you typed.

Results come back as profile cards. Open any of them, and you are in the normal Yarnoo profile with bio, portfolio, tags, and contact options.

Ask AI or Browse: Both Still Work

The assistant does not replace browsing. Use whichever matches how much you already know.

Starting a conversation from a search you already ran keeps your context, so you can say "cheaper than these" or "same energy but with live vocals" instead of starting over.

Finding the Contact That Was Never There

Here is the part that solves the oldest problem in this industry.

A large part of the catalog is imported artists: real, working acts who have a Yarnoo profile but have not claimed it yet. Some of those profiles have no phone, no email, no socials. Historically that meant a dead end and back to asking around.

Now, on an eligible profile, there is a Get contact using AI action. It opens a research conversation and goes to work:

1. It searches the open web for that specific artist.
2. It filters out the obvious wrong matches, because half the region shares a stage name with someone else.
3. It scores every contact it finds with a real identity-match confidence, shown as a percentage next to each result.
4. It shows you where each detail came from, cited, so you can judge it yourself.

If the first pass is off, you can refine it. Tell it the artist is the drummer from a specific band, or based in a specific city, and it narrows the search.

Two things to be honest about

It runs on unclaimed profiles with missing contacts. This is not a lookup tool for finding anyone's phone number on demand. If an artist has already claimed their profile and published their details, you simply contact them directly, or message them in-app.

Results are research, not official data. A finding shown in chat stays attached to that research run. It only becomes the artist's official contact on the profile after a Yarnoo admin reviews and promotes it. That deliberate slowness is the point: we would rather show you a cited finding with a confidence score than quietly publish a wrong number as fact.

Getting Started

1. Sign in. The assistant is available to signed-in users.
2. Open /chat, or tap Ask AI from the header or home page.
3. Describe your event the way you would describe it to a friend.
4. Open the profiles that look right, then contact or message the artist.

There is a daily limit on conversation turns, so the assistant stays fast and useful for everyone. In practice, a normal briefing conversation is nowhere near it.

Why We Built It This Way

The hard part of booking entertainment in this region has never been that the talent does not exist. It exists, in enormous quantity. The hard part is that discovery runs through private phonebooks, and if you are not in the right group chat you are locked out.

An assistant that takes a plain-language brief and returns real profiles turns that closed circle into something anyone can walk into. And an agent that can go find the missing contact for an artist who never had a listing pulls the last part of the industry out of the group chat.
