Originally founded in a living room in Hor Al Anz Dubai in 2015 was founded by Fabio, Freddy, and David. David has long returned back home to pursue his own journey. Fabio remains the core member and founder; whilst Freddy is the founder available if not in conflict with his residency.

Now, again taking a new line as a trio. The Groove Heavy is now joined by Louis & AJ together with Fabio. These multi-talented musicians currently occupy this lineup: Louis - Vocals/Keys/KeyBass, AJ - Sax/KeyBass & Fabio - Vocals/Drums. May we add Louis too is also a bassist making him understand bass lines and how to perform them on the keys. Whilst AJ himself is naturally a keyboard player also who loves playing bass and drums and adds a unique approach to key bass, whilst doing amazing solos on the sax. Fabio is also a bassist and acoustic guitarist but heavy on the backbeats becoming the foundation of the band.

Louis has in the past played alongside award-winning singer Chinua Hawk. AJ for Davido, and Fabio for the likes of local homegrown UAE artists as Lucas Leao and Leone Murphy. Groove Heavy being that versatile is a collective combined experience of its newest line up will bring you an exciting new approach to popular song presented through the Groove Heavy Experience.
