­Humaid Al Dhahery, 31, is the first Emirati circus performer.

The man inside the flashing suit, combines eccentric dance moves, slick circus tricks, powerful lasers and a pulsating techno soundtrack to put on a first-rate dose of family entertainment.

The intensity of Laser Man ratchets up as Al Dhahery brings more and more props to the party, including a lightsabre-like object, which he twirls around his head and rolls down his back, catching it just as it threatens to hit the floor and break the spell; and lasers, which shoot from devices strapped to his hands and forehead.

It was only last year, though, that he decided to turn his hobby into something more serious. He began watching YouTube videos of Russian and Chinese circus performers for inspiration and practising juggling, as well as his Laser Man routine, for up to four hours a day, despite ­holding a full-time job as an immigration officer in Sharjah. Al Dhahery also travelled to China recently to take part in an intensive training course. He doesn’t lack for commitment.

Mastering the dexterity needed to juggle with fire is not the only obstacle Al Dhahery has faced, though. There doesn’t appear to be any history of Emirati circus performers, even if international circus troupes do visit the UAE regularly.

Illizium is a serious and ambitious project with artists performing in such countries as Belarus, Russia, India, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates. The professional mastership and the level of our show program have been well confirmed by the collaboration with Paris Hilton and David Craig at the opening of a new club in Abu Dhabi.

The show program will be a key moment of any event presenting the best light show, laser show and fire show both outdoors and indoors at a wedding, jubilee, corporate or club party. The client can order the fire show and fireworks show in the open air while for premises our repertoire has a gorgeous light show (neon show) and a laser show. As part of the project, there are masters of sports and professional dancers, stilts men and fireworkers.

Mostafa Kajo is an exceptional fire performer from Egypt who is now based in the UAE.

He specializes in poi, staffs, dragon staffs, fire stars, fire-breathing, and more. Only a few fire artists can put on a show with such a huge and diverse variety of props and acts.

Kajo has become a favorite in the region for clubs, safaris, and all sorts of fire events and festivals.

Khaled is a highly experienced flow artist from Egypt.

He specialises in Fire play, Fire breathing, Poi, Tanoura Dancing and much more.

I'm a fire and LED performer with a calm and graceful style. My shows are smooth, warm, and visually pleasing, creating a gentle atmosphere while still feeling expressive and beautiful on stage.

In my wardrobe there are about 10 designer costumes suitable for different event themes, including LED costume.

I professionally create an atmosphere of magic. I have performed at such large events as Expo 2020 and Boulevard City in Saudi Arabia, as well as at chamber concerts and weddings. There is a fire burning in my heart to ignite joy in the eyes of the audience. Looking forward for future cooperation.
