Eduardo de la Cruz Barroetabeña (Edward) was born on April 12th, 1986, Las Tunas, Cuba. He studied music from 1997 until 2001 at “ El Cucalambe “ music school in Las Tunas and he continued his study from 2001 until 2006 at The Professional Conservatory of Music “José Maria Ochoa in Holguin”, specializing in Percussion.

His technical training through classical percussion, as well as his instrumental versatility, allowed him to play and share a stage with

many well-known musicians and bands. These artists include Wynton Marsalis, David Sanchez,

Stefon Harris, Christian Scott, Jose Luis Quintana(Changuito), Horacio “El Negro” Hernandez, Emilio Morales, Amadito Valdez, Mayito Rivera(Los Van Van), Laurent Couson,

Enrique Lazaga, Gary Lucas, Kash Killion, Jane Bunnette, Alex Acuña, Melvis Santa, and many others. In November 2013 Edward moved to Beijing and has been teaching Drums at Midi School of Music, Dulwich College Beijing, Harrow School Beijing, Western Academy of Beijing (WAB), Beijing City International School (BCIS) and Nine Beats. In China he played with many musicians such as Luoning, Hanlei, Zhan Xiaoli,

Moreno Donadel, Daren Burns, Peiyi Liu just to name a few, and his own ensembles, “TroVanda” (Latin) and “Prototype” (Jazz). He participated in hundreds of Drums Master Classes and Workshops in different cities and

She developed a passion for music at early ages playing a variety of traditional folk instruments, which led her to develop her passion and skills in playing the harp. Jessie obtained a bachelor’s degree in Music with emphasis on composition and arrangements from UNAD which is a Colombian University.

Thanks to the knowledge and techniques she has mastered with the harp, Jessie has had the opportunity to perform at various harp festivals throughout South and Central America, not only as a solo but with her local group Orchidea, including countries such as Mexico, Brazil and Paraguay.

Currently, she is based in UAE where she has performed a wide range of international music, including Arabic, Bollywood and many other genres, showcasing her versatility and creativity.

Since the beginning of my career as a cellist,with a solid academic background spanning over two decades of study, I have felt a deep interest in thoroughly exploring the potential of the instrument, both in its acoustic and electric variants. To achieve this, I have employed innovative techniques and technological resources such as multi-effects pedals and Loopers. These elements have not only found application in classical music but also in mainstream genres like rock and roll, pop, and Latin music.

My approach deviates from conventionality by using these resources in a less traditional manner, shaping a repertoire that spans contrasting styles in my performances. Instead of fragmenting music into isolated styles, my proposal is inhnase to present music as an integrated whole. This different approach not only highlights the versatility of the cello but also offers the audience an experience that transcends conventional stylistic boundaries.

I own a professional technical support that allows me to organize performances at any venue to which I am invited. Im able to ensure the provision of a significant portion of the equipment for a quality stage setup, adaptable to the specific needs of each client.

I felt compelled to enrich the visual component, inspired by the elegance of cinema and classic fashion, with carefully curated wardrob adapted to the specific needs of each occasion. The concept incorporates the principles of the nonchalant aesthetic, aiming to convey freshness and ease, yet with the intention of simultaneously achieving an elegant and stylized look.
