Jicho is a drummer, composer, and educator known for his intense approach to drumming emphasizing complex rhythms in direct harmony with other group members. Jicho is widely noted particularly for his drumming not being relegated to just keeping tempo, or being a side issue to the music he plays in, but rather for elevating drumming as an indispensable part of the performance.

Jicho performed with many great international musicians such as Nial Djuliarso, Prof. Tjut Nyak Deviana, Kaoru Inoue, Sawyer Hartwell, Kym Purling, Jean Marc Belkadi, Afgan and the list goes on. An Artist of famous brand “Taylor Trumpets” and “Mandala” Yervand Margaryan is a jazz and classical solo performer and clinician educator of trumpet. Starting from 1997 he worked in various orchestras, such as Yerevan Orchestra of Opera and Ballet, State Estrade- Symphonic Orhcestra of Television and Radio, Yerevan Symphonic Orchestra. He has performed a a soloist in symphonic concerts with such conductors and musicians as Emin Khachaturian, Constantine Orbelyan, Aram Karabekyan, Karen Durgaryan, Armen Babakhanyan and others.

In 2001 he was invited to be the soloist and lead trumpet player in the Armenian Jazz Band.In parallel he has performed and recorded as a soloist in various jazz and pop projects in Armenia, as well as abroad. They perform jazz music in all the different styles. They also perform a lot of their own original compositions. In 2016 "Con Alma" was found the best band of Armenia.

In 2014 Yervand Margaryan was awarded the medal and title of an honorary artist of the

city of Yerevan. Currently Yervand Margaryan continues performing and recording in various international and Armenian musical projects.At the moment he is a member and performer of official group of EXPO 2020 in Dubai “Exposonix”!

Same time Yervand Margaryan is continuing to educate students from all around the World through a different internet platforms and online lessons! He has his special method about building right embouchure,classical, jazz and lead trumpet playing.Also he has his own jazz improvisation educating system which is working as for beginners as for professional trumpet players!
