Samo El-Taweal is a drummer and composer from Alexandria, Egypt. His admiration and passion for music developed at an early age, his musical journey has taken him to more than 10 countries as a performer, Including the united states, morocco, and turkey.

In 2010, he formed his first hard rock band “pause,” which was awarded the audience award at the International summer festival of the renowned Alexandria library. Building on the success of “pause, ” Samo went on to perform with some of Egypt's top rock bands. He joined “Telepoetic” in 2012, one of the top electronic and experimental bands in Egypt and the middle east.

Telepoetic gave samo the platform to deliver his unique musical style to egyptian audiences, and he contributed heavily to the band's first album ensehab.

Samo has also performed and recorded with some of the most reputable and popular bands and singers in Egypt and the middle east. These include Massar Egbari, Amr Mostafa, Alaa Wardi, and Muslim.

Samo is always eager to develop his skills through workshops, such as those conducted by grammy-winning Egyptian composer Fathy Salama.
