I'm a guitarist and composer from India with over 14 years of experience exploring a wide range of genres—jazz, funk, ambient, fusion, and pop. My playing is deeply influenced by artists like Pat Metheny, Kurt Rosenwinkel, and a lifelong exposure to both Western and Indian classical music. I focus on creating thoughtful, textured, and improvisation-driven soundscapes, whether in solo settings or collaborative acts.

Over the years, I’ve performed with projects like Lazy Pockets, a jazz-funk group blending Hindustani classical with groove-based improvisation, and Mondegreen, an acoustic collective that toured Mumbai and explored jazz, folk, and lo-fi textures. I currently perform as one half of Ink & Strings, a versatile duo with vocalist Kankana, where we bring jazz-pop-funk sensibilities to both original and reimagined music.

Some of my favorite stages so far have been St. Regis, The Brass Room, Bonobo, PCO Bombay, Skinny Mo’s, and Artjuna in Goa. I’ve also contributed to film scores, podcasts, and live theatre as a composer and arranger.

I approach every performance with sincerity, musical curiosity, and a desire to connect with listeners. For me, it’s about creating moments—whether through intricate arrangements or simple melodies that speak to something real.
