Nicky's musical journey took off at a young age when she soared to the third position on the South African version of the popular International TV show, "Pop Idols". She subsequently formed the group NKD, and their debut album clinched the prestigious “Best Newcomer” title in 2007. Sharing the stage with international acts like Westlife, Ronan Keating, Michael Learns to Rock, and Michael Bolton, NKD's studio albums secured nominations for “Best Pop Album” at the South African Music Awards. Neil, a distinguished graduate of London's Guitar Institute/ICMP, holds a Masters in Guitar Performance (MMus).
