Gianluigi Secchi

(Sassari, 24 January 1989) is a guitarist-composer

He has been playing the guitar since he was 15 years old , when his father gives his first guitar.

- His studies began in 2009 learning the basics of fingerpicking, in 2010 he moved to Milan to study jazz guitar at the Accademia Del Suono, continuing in 2011-2012 in the "Luigi Canepa Conservatory" of Sassari and between 2013-2014 studying modern guitar to the "Birdland".

In his career he followed many projects with different bands, with which he had the opportunity to play and perform in different styles such as songwriting, funk, fusion, bossa, r & b, pop, reggae.

Since October 2017 he lives in London where he regularly performs as a soloist and turnist . He play solo guitar fingerstyle but also with loop station or backing track.

He is playing in hotels, theatre, club , and other events.

- In 2018 He works for P&O Cruise Ship in Australia and Pacific Ocean in duo band (singer-guitarist) playing pop and jazz.

He get ENG1, DBS, Training in Crisis Management and Human Behaviour on Passenger Ship.

In december 2018, in addition to teaching modern guitar and fingerpicking as a privatist (proposing his study method), he decided to use an experimental method for children aged 3 to 8 years in a private school in London. This method tends to develop psychomotor skills combined with listening, singing, dancing and drawing, and will be reported in the future in an educational book for children.

In July 2019 he was selected among the 2 direct finalists for the "Emerging Guitarist 2019" competition launched by ADGPA in Conegliano, while in September he was chosen by the Armadillo Club among the 4 finalists for the "New Sound Of Acoustic Music" in Cremona.

His first album of soundtracks "Adventure in D" is currently out, where tradition and modernity alternate in a mix of different sounds that go from classical to ethnic music, from swing to bossa, from r & b to world music.

Now is working on his second album electronic and classical, flamenco,jazz etc.
