ALLAIN RAUEN | Analogik Records | English (EN)

Techno DJ | Hybrid Live Performer | Producer | Composer | Label Head

Raw, hypnotic and long-form techno, designed for extended underground dancefloors, hybrid live contexts and immersive cultural spaces.

Allain Rauen is a techno DJ, hybrid live performer and sound artist whose work operates at the intersection of rhythm, texture, technology and emotion. Active since 1989, his artistic trajectory is defined by constant reinvention, a deep underground ethos and a refined mastery of long-form electronic performance.

Rejecting short-format and peak-time formulas, Allain conceives each performance as an extended sonic journey, immersive, evolving and non-repetitive. His sets unfold through time rather than impact, guided by a precise understanding of dancefloor psychology, spatial acoustics and collective energy.

Working beyond conventional DJ formats, Allain moves fluidly between DJing, hybrid live performance, music production, film scoring and curatorial practice. As the founder and head of Analogik Records, he curates and develops forward-thinking sonic projects rooted in experimentation, aesthetic depth and full artistic autonomy.

No two performances are ever the same. Through a hybrid DJ / live system, rhythm, structure and texture are continuously reconstructed in real time, shaped by space, audience and moment. Sound is not simply played back, but actively composed, deconstructed and reassembled during the performance itself.

Allain’s artistic signature lies in the tension between analog warmth and digital precision. Vintage synthesizers, drum machines, grooveboxes and samplers coexist with advanced software environments such as Ableton Live and Bitwig Studio, forming a flexible ecosystem where sound remains alive, unstable and responsive.

This vision reaches its fullest expression in Allain Rauen Live:HYBRID, a flagship performance format in which each set is composed, remixed and transformed live. The result is a dense, hypnotic and immersive sound architecture, non-linear, emotionally charged and deeply physical, translating machine logic into human experience.

Musically, Allain navigates between Detroit-rooted hypnotic techno, Berlin minimalism and experimental ambient, constructing cinematic narratives that unfold like a film in real time. His background as a film score composer reinforces this narrative sensibility, allowing his work to resonate equally within dancefloor, ritualistic and introspective contexts.

For Allain Rauen, techno is not a genre, but a living structure, solid enough to move bodies, abstract enough to open emotional and mental space. His sound unfolds slowly, hypnotic, immersive and emotionally resonant, designed for deep listening, altered states and sustained movement.

Beyond performance, his curatorial work through Analogik Records, podcasts and playlists expands his artistic footprint, fostering an international network of artists committed to originality, sonic depth and long-term artistic vision.

His performances are typically presented in extended formats, ranging from immersive underground club nights to site-specific, audiovisual and multidisciplinary contexts.

Allain Rauen Live:HYBRID is particularly suited for:

– forward-thinking and experimental festivals

– immersive audiovisual and multidisciplinary projects

– galleries and cultural spaces focused on sound, art and technology

Allain Rauen Live:HYBRID

Techno-DJ | Hybrid-Live-Performer | Produzent | Komponist | Labelleiter

– festivales vanguardistas y experimentales

– proyectos audiovisuales inmersivos y multidisciplinarios
